Christmas

We spent christmas eve with my dad doing the Danish feast. Rhys wanted a new bicycle for christmas so he can give his brother rides.  What a sweetheart he is. They had so much fun!

My mom, Wes and Court came down to spend the day with us on Christmas morning.  We made our ableskiever. and ribs again, the best traditions! We spent the rest of the day hanging out and playing with all our new toys.

The day after christmas/ Beckhams birthday we hopped in the car and went to Utah.  We wont get away with driving 12 hours for long, but he luckily doesn't know better.  We had so much fun playing in all the snow. Rhys loved all the snowmen, sledding and ice cave building.

We celebrated Becks birthday with some cupcakes. He's never had any trouble devouring the birthday cake.

We also went to an indoor trampoline place and the boys had a blast. Rhys was so brave on the big trapeze bar and Beckham thought it was heaven.

December!

We had the chance to buy a ticket to Seaworld and get a season pass for the next year! We took full advantage.  Sheri and I surprised the kids by telling them we were going on an adventure.  We spent the night in a hotel and woke up early to get the most out of the park. We also decided to check out the temple lights and have a yummy dinner at BJ's.

The kids were thrilled! We totally pulled off the surprise and the kids were so excited.

Dana Point harbor has a boat parade of lights and we took the boys.  They loved it!!

And to check out the Thuroughbred lights.

We went to the Facer/Hennings ugly sweater party, where Justin reigned supreme and won the ugliest sweater.
My friends caroling to me.  One word that I dont like caroling and they were at my doorstep!
 Just another day in paradise
Rhys was finally old enough to participate in the primary program at the ward christmas party.
Beckham putting on the final touches to the tree just before thanksgiving.

November continued

The rest of November was full of more sunshine.  Im always looking for way to take full advantage of Justin's days off, so this year we started our first annual Thanksgiving camping weekend.  We took a bunch of friends and set up shop on my dads property in Solvang.  It was a blast! We got in Friday afternoon, and stayed until Sunday.  Highlights include:

Setting up camp, kid wagon pulling, and hot chocolate
Movie projector on the side of the RV for the kids, dutch oven desserts by Craig
Saturday was spent with breakfast in town, the beach, and rockets

Hiking to a hot springs and soaking all our worries away.  This may or may not have been considered our shower for the weekend

Late night light pics, bonfires and

We have some amazing friends! Thanks Facers, Allens, Wards, Clevelands, and Steeles!!
