Rhys turned 3!

I still cant believe my little boy is three.  The time really has flown by.  For his birthday, we had an action packed weekend.  First up was the donut train with our friends, his all time favorite activity.
then we went to pick up papa from the airport and go down town to have lunch at Kenny and Zukes with daddy. ANd of course, ride another train.
ON the way back to daddy's office, we stopped and got some cupcakes for his treat that night.

And for our lunch dessert we had to stop at Pudding on the Rice. Also delish.
We had his presents and cupcake and some playing outside to end the perfect day.

Wheel barrow was a huge hit. He still loves it!
Beckham was much better at the scooter than Rhys was/is.

Papa Saturday

Aside from planting tons of flowers in my front yard and all my strawberry plants in the back, and an herb garden, we took papa out to go hiking on last time in the Columbia gorge.  We took the scenic route and found some great spots. And we bought the climbing gear for Rhys so he can climb at the gym. He was thrilled!

Gorgeous!

10 May 2012

On Saturday, my mom had another Easter egg hunt for him.  This time, he knew exactly what to expect, and exactly what was in the eggs.  And Beckham got to get in on the action instead of snoozing like the time before.  It was a great ending to a wonderful 2 weeks.

Rhys knew that the good stuff was on the inside, so he would open each egg, collect the candy in his bucket and throw the egg to the side. Ha!

Angels Opening day

We did get to go to The Anaheim Angels opening day. That was fun!

Camper bus, Trains and Easter egg hunt

We took Papa's RV up the Cajon pass to watch the trains go by and have a picnic lunch.  Rhys was in heaven.  They have 4 tracks within 100 yards, so we saw probably 6 trains go by.  We also perfected the art of getting coins smashed by the trains, and the fun in finding them when its all done.  I was a great way to spend an afternoon.

We set up an Easter egg hunt while we were there and in between trains. Rhys cought on to the concept pretty quick, although he is definitely not the fastest egg hunter.

Beckham manned the RV while we were out.

More San Clemente

I forgot to add these pics from our trip in San Clemente that I just love too much. The night Justin left for Costa Rica we headed to the beach to hang out as a fam with the Wards.  It was a gorgeous sunset and night.
