My dad, Rhys and I finally made the trip up to check out this gorgeous strip of Wyoming. It has been on our list of things to do for a long time. And it lived up to every expectation. What a beautiful country we have. The drive is so nice through all the valleys and farm land, I loved it. We spend the next couple days checking out the area. Rhys was having a blast playing in Jenny lake. He was completely soaked by the end of the day.
He was getting a little loopy by the end of all the driving. He thought it was the funniest thing to eat his toes. Papa and Rhys at the antler arch in Jackson hole.

Baby Jackson
My brother blessed his new baby boy Jackson. He could not have been cuter and the ceremony was beautiful. I love having the blessing at home where we can all pass him around and be together as a family. I think it makes the moment more special. Baby Jay did great, slept through the whole thing. He is too precious!
isn't my sis gorgeous! You should have seen the devil in her when I took away her cell phone. HA HA!

Have you ever been??
Im in need of a bit of help. We are planning a trip to the east coast this september and trying to figure out just what to do. I have been to DC and NYC before, but know there are lots of things that we missed. Our plans are completely up in the air with a definite stop in DC. Boston is a possibilty, but to be honest, I dont know how interested I am in making the trek up there. What is there to do? Im not exactly a big city kinda gal, we seem to get lost in the hustle of it all and miss the local spots that make the trip that much better. So, I would love some input. Any great little spots that you've been to and would make it a must do? Maybe things that weren't in the city but totally worth stopping at? I am half tempted to make a trip up to Hoboken, NJ and stop by to meet the Cake Boss...perhaps get a few canoli's... Anyways, I would love your help!
Here goes nothing
August has flown by! It was such a crazy month full of family, friends, NP's, baby blessings, homecomings, decorating and re decorating, more family, road trips, concerts, over nighters, a lake trip, and tons of fun. My kind of month!! I'm going to try and recap as best I can but it may take a few days.... or weeks. What can I say, August has been good to me.
First things first
My mom flew out to help me decorate Rhys's room because since we moved, I have hated it! We painted, sewed, shopped, and mod podged out little hearts out. I dont have pictures yet, we are still waiting on a few crucial elements to arrive, but I will post them as soon as I do. Needless to say I love it now! It is so cute. All about travel, maps, and big cities. (can you tell Im trying to brain wash my children into loving to travel as much as I do!)
Then we literally hoped in a car and drove to Utah. My mom, Rhys and I began the trek. Rhys did pretty good for being strapped in the car for 13 hours. We broke up the drive a lot which helped, but made me very worried about the drive home. But thank goodness for Finding Nemo. Anyways, we had alot planned for week 1. Ill start there.

Tim McGraw at USANA
My friend Sheri and I have had a long standing tradition to go see Timmy every time he is on tour. Since she lives in CA, this year we decided to meet up in SLC. It was a blast. Not only did I get to take my good camera in, the show was so good! One of his best. With Lady Antebellum opening up for him, it was a great show!
