canning casualty

We had the portable caner last week to get ahead on our food storage and after all this: (88 cans of oats, beans, bean soup, rice, oat groats, flour, and sugar. I kept 36)
the only casualty was this.


He cut up the pad of his finger in this nasty jig jagged pattern. Its gross. Now he has his "silly purple singer"

Poor guy!! But, I have to say, what's more shocking is all of that canning... 88 cans??!!! Did you rent a canner from the cannery? You're even more domestic than I thought. You'll have to learn me your canning ways sometime. :)

(And in the meantime, I hope the little guy heals up nicely.)
